Beyoncé had an emotional moment with her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, during a surprise performance by Stevie Nicks at the Met Gala 2026.

According to Today, actor Hugh Jackman shared the touching behind-the-scenes moment during his appearance on the show on May 6.

Jackman recalled that Sabrina Carpenter first appeared on stage before Stevie Nicks joined her for a special performance inside the gala.

Hugh Jackman Recalls the Priceless Moment

Jackman said he noticed Beyoncé becoming emotional while watching the performance with Blue Ivy beside her.

“She was tapping her daughter and had tears in her eyes,” Jackman shared during the interview, describing the moment as “priceless.”

The event brought together several major celebrities, including Rihanna, while Beyoncé attended the gala alongside her husband, Jay-Z.

Rumors Grow Around Beyoncé’s Act III Album

The emotional moment also fueled online discussions about Stevie Nicks possibly being connected to Beyoncé’s rumored Act III album, which many fans believe could have a rock-inspired sound.

Speculation increased after Beyoncé shared a throwback video featuring herself and the members of Destiny's Child with Stevie Nicks from 2001.

According to the clip reposted by Tina Knowles on Instagram, Beyoncé spoke warmly about meeting Nicks for the first time.

Nicks later appeared in Destiny’s Child’s “Bootylicious” music video, which sampled her famous song Edge of Seventeen.

No Act III Announcement Yet

Fans had expected Beyoncé to announce her next album during Met Gala week. However, according to Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, no official announcement was planned.

Jenna Bush Hager clarified that the album is still expected in the future, even though it was not revealed during the event.

Beyoncé previously released Renaissance in 2022 and Cowboy Carter in 2024 as part of her ongoing album trilogy.
