Robert Irwin Thanks Sister Bindi After DWTS Win, Misses Show

From Mirrorball Memories to Sweet Sibling Love on the Dance Floor

Stop everything — because Robert Irwin just won Dancing with the Stars, and the emotions are off the charts. The 21-year-old wildlife conservationist took home the Mirrorball Trophy for season 34 with his partner Witney Carson, and now he’s doing what every DWTS winner does best… missing the ballroom already.

Just two days after his big win on Tuesday, Nov. 25, Robert shared the sweetest throwback that instantly melted the internet. He posted side-by-side photos of himself holding Bindi Irwin’s Mirrorball Trophy back in 2015 — and then holding his very own trophy in 2025. Talk about a full-circle moment!

“10 years later,” he wrote in the caption. “Thanks for being my inspiration to take this leap, @bindisueirwin — love you.” He also shared an adorable family photo with Bindi and their mom, Terri Irwin, all proudly holding the iconic trophy.

And if that wasn’t emotional enough, Robert dropped 18 more behind-the-scenes photos just hours later — packed with rehearsal moments, finale night celebrations, and tons of snaps with Witney and the rest of the season 34 cast.

“I miss this already,” he wrote. Honestly? Same.

Witney Carson felt it too. She jumped into the comments with, “I miss you so much if you don’t already know from my texts,” which is basically the most DWTS-post-finale thing ever.

Robert also opened up about why Bindi’s win meant so much to him in the first place. He shared that when she lifted her Mirrorball all those years ago, it represented more than just a dance victory — it stood for their family’s mission at Australia Zoo and Wildlife Warriors, the world’s largest wildlife hospital.

“To watch her lift that Mirrorball, I saw her lifting that message,” he said, talking about conservation and making the world a better place. Yep… cue the tears.
