Will Reeve is officially married. The ABC News correspondent, and son of late Superman actor Christopher Reeve and singer Dana Reeve, tied the knot with Amanda Dubin in Miami on Saturday, January 17.

The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. PEOPLE confirmed the wedding, which came nearly two years after Reeve and Dubin first went public with their relationship.

An Emotional Moment Before the Ceremony

Ahead of the wedding, Amanda’s mother, Victoria Dubin, shared a touching post on Instagram Stories. She described a quiet, emotional moment just before the ceremony as her daughter left for her first look.

“The bride has just departed for her first look,” she wrote. “She took our breath away. The emotion her father and I feel is palpable.”

ABC News Friends Celebrate the Big Day

Several of Reeve’s ABC News colleagues traveled to Miami for the celebration. Robin Roberts shared a photo on Instagram showing herself with wife Amber Laign, along with Sam Champion, Lara Spencer and others.

“Pre-party last night before heading to celebrate a beautiful couple say I do,” Roberts wrote, later calling the wedding “a magical night celebrating a magical couple.”

A Surprise Proposal Planned Down to the Last Detail

Reeve proposed to Dubin in November 2024, announcing the engagement with a simple joint Instagram post captioned, “Us ????.”

Later, on Live with Kelly and Mark, Reeve explained how he managed to keep the proposal a secret — no easy task, considering Dubin is a professional event planner. He admitted he created a fake charity event in Manhattan to throw her off.

When they arrived, the space was filled with roses, live music from a cellist, and a photographer. At first, Dubin began recording the setup for “work inspiration” before realizing what was actually happening.

Upstairs, both families waited to celebrate once she said yes. Reeve later told PEOPLE the proposal night was “the happiest night of our lives.”

Marrying Into an Event-Planning Family

In February 2025, Reeve joked that he was marrying into a family of expert planners. Dubin and her mother, Victoria, have worked together for years, with Victoria leading the well-known firm Victoria Dubin Events for over two decades.

When told this might be the easiest wedding he’d ever have, Reeve replied with a smile, “I hope it’s the only wedding I’m ever a part of.”

A Relationship That Grew Naturally

Reeve and Dubin first confirmed their relationship in April 2023 with a selfie taken in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Since then, the couple has shared occasional glimpses of their life together on social media.

Speaking on ABC News in early 2024, Reeve reflected on love, saying it often comes unexpectedly and changes everything.

With their Miami wedding now complete, Will Reeve and Amanda Dubin are beginning married life quietly — surrounded by family, friends and a lot of love.
