The event wasn't just a nostalgic reunion for the original cast. A long list of A-list celebrities attended the premiere to catch the first official performance. The musical is led by a talented cast, including Shoshana Bean and Ali Louis Bourzgui, under the direction of Tony winner Michael Arden.
The story follows Lucy and her sons, Michael and Sam, as they move to the coastal town of Santa Carla. While searching for a fresh start, the family discovers that the town’s boardwalk hides a dark and dangerous secret. As Michael falls in with a local rock band, his younger brother Sam realizes that these new friends only come out at night and are far more dangerous than they seem.

With a mix of 80s nostalgia and modern stage craft, the musical aims to capture the same "rock and roll" vampire energy that made the original film a hit decades ago.
