Love Island 2026 welcomed a major new arrival as Simba Kudyiwa entered the villa alongside fellow bombshell Tommy Murphy.
The 24-year-old wasted no time making an impression, quickly finding a connection with Angelista and landing himself at the center of villa drama. His arrival has already sparked tension, with fellow islander Ope left frustrated after witnessing Simba and Angelista grow closer.
Simba Kudyiwa is a 24-year-old neurological rehabilitation assistant from Enfield, London.
Away from reality television, he works in healthcare, helping people recover through neurological rehabilitation. However, after four years of being single, Simba decided it was time to focus on his own search for love by joining Love Island 2026.
Before entering the villa, Simba described his dating life as a "shambles," saying it had largely consisted of situationships and unsuccessful talking stages.
Simba has a clear idea of what he wants from a relationship.
He said he is attracted to women with natural features who take care of themselves. Personality is equally important, with Simba saying he values ambition and enjoys someone who does not take themselves too seriously.
Ahead of entering the villa, he expressed hope that Love Island could finally help him find a long-term relationship.
Love Island is not Simba's first experience on a dating programme.
Before joining the ITV dating series, he appeared on the popular dating show Pop The Balloon Or Find Love, which gained attention online and later reached a wider audience through Netflix.
During his appearance, Simba developed a reputation for being selective when choosing potential matches.
He reached the final stages with contestant Tamara but ultimately decided not to pursue a connection, explaining that their lifestyles did not align. Earlier in the show, he had also ended another potential match after deciding they were not compatible.
While appearing on Pop The Balloon Or Find Love, Simba spoke openly about his personality.
He described resilience as one of his biggest strengths and said he is able to deal with difficult situations and adversity.
When discussing his weaknesses, Simba admitted he can be overly critical of himself and sometimes has a tendency to overthink.
Shortly after arriving in the villa, Simba chose to couple up with Angelista.

The pair appeared to hit it off immediately, with Angelista admitting that Simba made her feel nervous in a way she had not experienced for some time.
Their growing connection quickly became one of the main talking points among the islanders.
Simba's decision to pursue Angelista created tension with Ope, who had previously been coupled up with her.
The situation escalated after Simba and Angelista spent time together away from the rest of the villa, leaving Ope visibly frustrated.
A preview for the following episode suggested the disagreement would continue, with Simba and Ope preparing to confront each other over Angelista and their competing claims about who is the better match for her.
The rivalry has already become one of the biggest storylines since Simba's arrival.
