Alix Earle’s Tear-Filled Message to Val

Val’s Message: Jokes First, Tears Immediately After

Val appeared on camera in sunglasses and a fuzzy black teddy coat (very “sad boy chic”) and joked that he kept his shades on because he didn’t want people turning his tears into memes tomorrow. Too late, Val—TikTok is already drafting them.

But then he got real.

He thanked Alix for being “a hardworking, generous, kind human being,” adding that teaching her every single day has been an absolute pleasure. He also shouted out her talent—saying it allowed him to teach “at such a high level,” and that it’s one of the things he’ll miss most this season.
