Following its exclusive world premiere, Amazon MGM Studios' highly anticipated live-action Masters of the Universe reboot is already generating massive buzz. While full plot reviews are still under wraps, a major post-credits leak has slipped out, and it confirms the live-action debut of one of the franchise's most famous animated characters.

Industry insiders have confirmed that the film’s single post-credits scene will officially introduce Orko, the levitating, accident-prone Trollan wizard.
Originally created for the 1980s animated series to provide comic relief, Orko has never appeared in a live-action format until now. Director Travis Knight is leaning heavily into the franchise's vibrant, fun roots, and featuring He-Man’s magical, red-robed adviser sets up a direct line to the classic lore.
Before the Orko leak, heavy internet speculation suggested that Prince Adam’s twin sister, She-Ra (Princess Adora), would occupy the post-credits slot. Director Travis Knight recently addressed these rumors, admitting that major sequences had to be cut from the final theatrical version.

Knight emphasized that She-Ra is a massive part of this universe and will play a critical role in future sequels. While she might not physically appear in this initial June 5 release due to editing cuts, her presence is deeply felt, and the studio is already planning her arrival. This strategy bodes exceptionally well for the live-action She-Ra series currently in development at Prime Video.
The 2026 film moves entirely away from the gritty, low-budget feel of the 1987 Dolph Lundgren movie. Instead, early footage indicates a high-energy, visually bold style reminiscent of Thor: Ragnarok and Flash Gordon.
The updated storyline offers a fresh take on the classic lore:
The Earth Connection: A 10-year-old Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) crashes to Earth in a spaceship, losing his connection to the magical Power Sword.
The Return to Eternia: Nearly two decades later, Adam tracks down the sword and is pulled back across space to find his home planet completely shattered under the cruel rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto).
The Resistance: To reclaim his throne, Adam must team up with Teela (Camila Mendes) and Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba) to unleash his true destiny as He-Man.
With an ensemble cast that includes Kristen Wiig voicing Roboto and Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, the film balances heavy family trauma with the colorful, unapologetic fun of the original Mattel toy line. Masters of the Universe hits theaters globally on June 5, 2026.
