New York City saw a major celebrity moment on Tuesday, December 2, as Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried arrived in style for the special screening of their upcoming thriller, The Housemaid.

The event was held at 787 Seventh Avenue, where flashing cameras, excited fans, and a packed red carpet set the mood for a memorable night.

Directed by Paul Feig and written by Robecca Sonnenshine, The Housemaid is based on the 2022 best-selling novel by Freida McFadden. The film follows Millie Calloway, played by Sydney Sweeney, a young woman trying to start over after a troubled past. She accepts a job as a housemaid for a wealthy family, only to slowly realize that something is deeply wrong behind closed doors.

Amanda Seyfried steps into the role of Nina Winchester, the polished and powerful woman who hires Millie, while Brandon Sklenar portrays Nina’s husband. The supporting cast includes Michele Morrone, Elizabeth Perkins, Indiana Elle, Mark Grossman, Hannah Cruz, Megan Ferguson, and Ellen Tamaki.

The film is produced by Todd Lieberman, Paul Feig, and Laura Fischer, with Sweeney and Seyfried also taking on executive producer roles along with Alex Young and author Freida McFadden.
