Speaking on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Beverly shared that she was thrilled to have been chosen for a one-on-one date. However, her excitement quickly turned to distress when she began experiencing severe stomach pain.
“I honestly was so excited,” she recalled. “I took a nap, woke up, and my stomach was hurting. I thought maybe it was just a bad stomach ache.”
Despite persistent vomiting and worsening pain over the next 12 hours, Beverly initially dismissed it as nothing serious. However, as her condition worsened, production stepped in and rushed her to the hospital.
Emergency Surgery for Appendicitis
At the hospital, Beverly underwent a three-hour emergency room stay, where doctors diagnosed her with appendicitis. She was given morphine for the pain and informed that she required immediate surgery.
