From Mirrorball Victory to Tearful Thank-Yous—It’s All the Feels

Stop scrolling because Robert Irwin just made everyone emotional on the internet. Fresh off his big Dancing With the Stars” Season 34 win, the wildlife conservationist shared a heartfelt message that instantly had fans reaching for tissues.

On November 26, Robert took to Instagram to reflect on his three-month DWTS journey—and wow, it was pure gratitude. “Where do I begin… THANK YOU,” he wrote, admitting that he still can’t fully put into words what the experience meant to him. But one person got a very special shoutout right away: his dance partner, Witney Carson.

Robert called Witney the person who believed in him when he doubted himself, pushed him through every challenge, and—most importantly—made sure he always had snacks during rehearsals. Iconic behavior. He went on to say that trusting Witney helped him take a leap of faith and create memories that will stay with him forever.

Then came the full-circle moment that made fans even more emotional. Robert revealed that his sister Bindi won the Mirrorball Trophy 10 years ago, and Witney herself won 11 years ago—making his win feel almost destiny-level special.

And yes, the family love was strong. Robert shared that his entire family moved from Australia to the U.S. for three months just to support him. He gave a touching nod to Bindi, crediting her for inspiring him to take on the DWTS adventure in the first place.

But the thank-yous didn’t stop there. Robert also showed love to his fellow contestants, the pros, and the entire DWTS crew, calling them passionate, hardworking, and like a second family. He even thanked the behind-the-scenes team for keeping the magic of the show alive year after year.

Finally, Robert saved one of his biggest thank-yous for the fans. He said the love from across America and around the world kept him going week after week. He called the experience healing and said he was proud to represent Australia Zoo, Wildlife Warriors, and his family’s legacy with the Mirrorball Trophy in hand.

And of course, the comments section absolutely exploded.

From Mirrorball Glory to Millions

Witney Carson wrote an emotional note saying Robert had no dance experience at the start—but still “did the dang thing” with courage and heart. Former winner Xochitl Gomez chimed in with congratulations, while DWTS co-host Julianne Hough called him an absolute star and class act.

Honestly? From wildlife to waltzes, Robert Irwin just proved he can do it all—and fans couldn’t be more proud.
