On November 26, Robert took to Instagram to reflect on his three-month DWTS journey—and wow, it was pure gratitude. “Where do I begin… THANK YOU,” he wrote, admitting that he still can’t fully put into words what the experience meant to him. Robert called Witney the person who believed in him when he doubted himself, pushed him through every challenge, and—most importantly—made sure he always had snacks during rehearsals. Iconic behavior. He went on to say that trusting Witney helped him take a leap of faith and create memories that will stay with him forever.

Then came the full-circle moment that made fans even more emotional. Robert revealed that his sister Bindi won the Mirrorball Trophy 10 years ago, and Witney herself won 11 years ago—making his win feel almost destiny-level special.

And yes, the family love was strong. Robert shared that his entire family moved from Australia to the U.S. for three months just to support him. He gave a touching nod to Bindi, crediting her for inspiring him to take on the DWTS adventure in the first place.

But the thank-yous didn’t stop there. Robert also showed love to his fellow contestants, the pros, and the entire DWTS crew, calling them passionate, hardworking, and like a second family. He called the experience healing and said he was proud to represent Australia Zoo, Wildlife Warriors, and his family’s legacy with the Mirrorball Trophy in hand.
