The wait is finally over for The Golden Bachelor fans! Season 2’s finale is just around the corner, and spoilers have already revealed who Mel Owens chose as his winner — and whether he got engaged.
The latest Women Tell All special aired on October 29, 2025, bringing back all of Mel’s former contestants. Emotions ran high as Debbie Siebers, who finished third, called out Nicolle Kate for allegedly chasing fame and “dating America.”
“It was heartbreaking to send them home,” Mel shared during the episode. “They all touched my heart in special ways.”
Now, only two women remain in Mel’s journey to find love —
Cindy Angelcyk Cullers, a 60-year-old retired biomedical engineer from Austin, Texas.

Both women confessed that they were falling in love with Mel, but during hometown visits, he struggled to provide clear reassurance to either family. After Fantasy Suites in Antigua, Mel faced the most emotional decision of his season — choosing between Cindy and Peg.
According to reliable Bachelor Nation source Reality Steve (Steve Carbone), Mel Owens chose Peg Munson as his winner in The Golden Bachelor Season 2 finale.
Not only did Peg receive Mel’s final golden rose, but the two reportedly got engaged during the Final Rose Ceremony in Antigua.
“Mel is engaged to Peg,” Reality Steve confirmed on Instagram, adding, “Took me long enough, but here’s your Golden Bachelor finale spoiler.”
Fans reacted quickly online — while many celebrated Peg’s vibrant personality and energy, others were heartbroken for Cindy, believing she truly loved Mel.

Social media has been buzzing with mixed reactions. Some fans cheered for Peg, while others expressed doubts about the couple’s long-term compatibility.
“Omg, I thought he was gonna go for Cindy! Cindy was probably heartbroken,” one viewer wrote.
Another commented, “They won’t last. She’s too fun and cool for him.”
Some fans even speculated that the engagement might not last beyond a few months, suggesting the pair’s lifestyles and personalities might clash.
Despite the speculation, Peg recently described her experience on The Golden Bachelor as “amazing” during an appearance on the Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast.
Meanwhile, Mel Owens teased that the finale would be emotional and full of unexpected turns.
“It’s so brilliant. You won’t believe how we get there emotionally,” Mel told Us Weekly.

The 66-year-old former NFL player and attorney also admitted that choosing between Cindy and Peg was “tough,” but ultimately, he followed his heart.
“There’s that magnetism that pulls you in that direction,” Mel said. “I went with my gut.”
If the spoilers are true, Mel Owens and Peg Munson are now engaged, and The Golden Bachelor finale promises to be one of the most emotional episodes yet. Fans will have to wait until November 12, 2025, to see if love truly conquers all for the new golden couple.
