Why Love Island 2026’s New Cast Is Already Getting Fans Talking

Love Island returns on June 1 with a brand-new group of Islanders heading into the Mallorca villa for Season 13. ITV has now confirmed the first 12 contestants joining the summer series, including Robyn, Mica, Lorenzo, Sean, Jasmine and Samraj.

The new season also introduces a football stadium-inspired villa design created around this year’s World Cup atmosphere. Maya Jama returns as host, while Iain Stirling continues as narrator for the ITV2 dating series.

Episodes begin airing at 9 PM BST on ITV2 and ITVX and will continue through the show’s regular eight-week schedule.

Robyn, a 21-year-old quantity surveyor and DJ from Liverpool, is part of the opening cast heading into the villa this summer. ITV introduced her alongside Lorenzo and Mica as three contestants ready to “heat up the villa” when the season begins.

Mica, a 21-year-old student from Barbados now living in London, joins the cast as one of the youngest Islanders this year.

Lorenzo, 28, arrives from Hertfordshire and runs his own business. His introduction quickly drew attention online after ITV released the first promotional images for the new season.

Model Samraj, who is from Birmingham, completes the trio revealed in ITV’s second cast announcement.

The group adds a mix of television-ready personalities, professional careers and social-media-friendly contestants that usually shape the early weeks of the series.
