Fans of Stranger Things are heading back to Hawkins one final time — but not in the way they might expect. Netflix has officially announced a feature-length documentary that takes viewers behind the scenes of the show’s fifth and final season.
The documentary, titled One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5, will premiere on Netflix on January 13, 2026, offering an emotional look at how one of television’s biggest series came to an end.

Set in 1980s Indiana, Stranger Things followed a close-knit group of kids as they faced supernatural threats, secret government experiments, and the horrors of the Upside Down. Over the years, the show became a global phenomenon and launched the careers of several young stars.

The series featured a large ensemble cast including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Jamie Campbell Bower, Maya Hawke, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery and Cara Buono. The final episode of the series premiered on New Year’s Eve, closing the main story after nearly a decade.
