In the 25th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs. Batting first, Mumbai had given Hyderabad a target of 193 runs, but Hyderabad's team was bundled out for 178 runs in 19.5 overs. The last over was bowled by Arjun Tendulkar and in this over he defended 20 runs and also took the first wicket of IPL. Earlier, Hyderabad won the toss and chose to bowl first. While Mumbai Indians had made one change, the Hyderabad team had landed without any change. With this win, Mumbai Indians have moved up to the sixth position in the points table, while Sunrisers Hyderabad have moved up to the ninth position.
