Dancing With the Stars Season 34 is getting more intense each week, with emotional performances and shocking eliminations keeping fans on edge. As Halloween Week approaches, rehearsals have become tougher — and injuries, unfortunately, more common. One of the latest stars to face an unexpected setback is Dylan Efron, who was rushed to the hospital after a late-night accident.
The Traitors alum Dylan Efron shared on Instagram that he was taken to the emergency room on October 24, 2025, after accidentally breaking his nose during rehearsals. The incident happened while practicing a new move with his professional dance partner, Dani Karagach.
Explaining what went wrong, Dylan said:
“I took an elbow right here, and it made a really loud crack.”
Despite the pain, Dylan kept his sense of humor, writing in his caption:
“Broke my nose, but don’t need it to dance.”
He assured fans that the injury wasn’t serious and thanked Dani, her husband Pasha Pashkov, and his co-star Danielle Fishel for being by his side during the emergency. Fans quickly flooded his comments with well-wishes and messages of support.
While the news of his injury worried fans, Dylan soon shared a positive update. He confirmed that he’s doing fine and already plans to return to rehearsals. The DWTS contestant revealed that he and Dani Karagach will still perform their Halloween Week routine, set to a dark and haunting version of Can’t Help Falling in Love by Tommee Profitt and Brooke.
Dylan wrote:
“We’ll be back dancing tomorrow.”
His quick recovery and upbeat attitude have inspired many, and fans are eager to see his comeback performance under the eerie Halloween lights.
Just last week, Dylan melted hearts during Dedication Night with an emotional performance alongside his younger sister, Olivia Efron, and pro partner Dani Karagach. The trio performed a contemporary dance to Rewrite the Stars from The Greatest Showman — a touching nod to Dylan’s brother, Zac Efron, who originally sang the song in the film with Zendaya.
Their heartfelt performance earned an impressive 36/40 from the judges, proving that Dylan has both the emotional depth and determination to go far in the competition.
