Among the attendees were many celebrities who shared their own emotional stories of losing their homes. Comedian Billy Crystal spoke about the pain of seeing his house, where he lived for 46 years, reduced to rubble. Some of the firefighters who had worked tirelessly to save homes also suffered losses, with a dozen firefighters reportedly losing their homes during the wildfires.

In addition to the musical acts, political leaders like former Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Douglas Emhoff, were spotted in the audience, showing their support for the victims. The event highlighted the unity between celebrities, politicians, and ordinary people in times of crisis.
Thanks to the efforts of the event's organizers and sponsors, including Connie and Steve Ballmer, who matched donations, FireAid 2025 raised over $60 million even before the concert took place. The generosity of donors, including corporate sponsors, played a significant role in providing much-needed support for those impacted by the fires.
