The seventh season of television's popular cooking reality show 'MasterChef India' has got its winner. Nayanjyoti Saikia, a resident of Assam, has been declared the winner of MasterChef India 7 in the grand finale held on Friday night. The journey of the 7th season of 'MasterChef India' started with the top 36 chefs, and gradually many of them got eliminated from the show. From the Top 16 then the Top 7 and only the Top 3 chefs managed to make it to the Grand Finale, which included Nayanjyoti Saikia, Santa Sarma, and Suvarna Bagul. There is no place for Nayanjyoti Saikia's happiness after becoming the winner of 'MasterChef India 7'. He not only won hearts in the show with his simplicity but also won the trust of the judges with his dish.
For the 'Ultimate Grand Finale', Nayanjyoti plates up the Tinsukia dish for the signature three-course meal challenge. She presented Crab Curry, Assamese Style Duck with Dish, and Berry Sorbet to the judges.

After going through a series of challenges, Nayanjyoti Saikia emerged as the winner of 'MasterChef India 7' after winning the last challenge given by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. He was also given a check of Rs 25 lakh along with the trophy of the show. Nayanjyoti Saikia is now getting a gift of praise on social media. First, runner-up Santa Sarma from Assam and second runner-up Suvarna Bagul from Mumbai were declared. Both were also given prize money of Rs 5-5 lakh. Nayanjyoti said on her victory
Speaking about her victory, Nayanjyoti said, 'I had a simple dream. I wanted to become a cook in MasterChef India, but now I feel that all my goals in life have been fulfilled. Not only did I make it to MasterChef, but I also got the apron. It feels like a dream to win this cooking reality show. I had doubts about myself, but all three judges motivated us a lot, especially Chef Vikas who has helped me a lot since the day of the audition.
