Love Island USA Season 7 Episode 30 took a dramatic turn when Cierra Ortega was suddenly removed from the villa. Her exit came after past social media posts containing racist language resurfaced, prompting immediate action from the show. This left her partner, Nic Vansteenberghe, confused and single.

With emotions running high, Nic was faced with a big decision—should he leave the villa or stay and start fresh? In a twist, he decided to stay, revealing he still had unresolved feelings for Olandria Carthen, his earlier connection from the start of the season.

Meanwhile, Olandria had also been left single after her partner, Taylor, recoupled with someone else. This opened the door for Nic and Olandria to reconnect.
During the Ep-30 recoupling ceremony, Nic chose Olandria.
Nic said, "My connection’s gone, so now it’s about being there for Olandria and giving her my full support."
Olandria echoed his thoughts, saying she felt safe and supported around Nic.

Many Love Island fans and Islanders themselves saw the pairing as more of a friendship than a romantic spark. Viewers felt that the two came together as a way to find stability after heartbreak, rather than a real love story.
Still, with both now single and open-minded, there’s a chance for something deeper to grow. Nic and Olandria acknowledged that they’ve always had a strong friendship foundation, and maybe—just maybe—that could turn into something more.
