Tragic Death at 35 Due to Pancreatic Cancer
Paul Teal, beloved for his role as Josh Avery in One Tree Hill, passed away at 35 after battling Stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer. Diagnosed in April 2024, he fought courageously for seven months until his passing on November 15, 2024, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Paul’s fiancée, Emilia Torello, broke the news of his death via Instagram, sharing:
"Paul, you were my soulmate, my rock, and my future... I will love you forever."
She highlighted his bravery and determination during his battle with cancer, calling him "the most talented and dedicated person" she had ever met.
Even during his illness, Paul filmed the Starz series The Hunting Wives. Emilia credited the cast and crew for supporting Paul during this difficult time.
