Lilo & Stitch Leads 2025 Box Office, MI8 & Sinners Join $350M Club

Disney’s live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch is proving to be a massive hit, flying past $610 million worldwide just two weeks after its release. Meanwhile, two other 2025 releases—Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and Warner Bros.' Sinners—have both crossed the $350 million global milestone.

Lilo & Stitch (2025): A Global Family Favorite

Disney’s Lilo & Stitch has taken audiences by storm with a $610 million global haul, becoming the second-biggest Hollywood release of the year behind A Minecraft Movie ($947 million).

The film has earned $280 million domestically and an impressive $330 million from international markets. Major overseas contributors include:

  • Mexico: $45 million

  • United Kingdom: $34.5 million

  • France: $23.1 million

  • Brazil: $21.6 million

With these numbers, Lilo & Stitch is on track to become one of Disney’s most successful live-action adaptations to date.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning: A Milestone with Caution

Paramount’s latest action epic starring Tom Cruise, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (also referred to as Mission: Impossible 8), has reached $353.8 million globally.

The film made $122.6 million in the U.S. and $231.1 million overseas after its second weekend. However, with a staggering $400 million production budget, profitability is not yet guaranteed. Continued strong box office performance will be essential in the coming weeks.

Sinners: Horror Hit from Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan

Warner Bros.’ horror-thriller Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan, has also crossed the $350 million mark globally. The film earned $83 million internationally and has proven to be a solid performer in a competitive release window.

Box Office in 2025: The Year’s Biggest Hits So Far

As of now, only six films in 2025 have surpassed $350 million globally:

  • A Minecraft Movie

  • Lilo & Stitch

  • Captain America: Brave New World

  • Thunderbolts

  • Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning

  • Sinners
