Jamie Foxx has finally spoken out about the bizarre conspiracy theory that music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs tried to kill him. The rumors started after Foxx’s serious medical emergency in 2023, when he suffered a brain bleed and went into a coma for nearly 20 days. But now, Foxx is setting the record straight.
Speaking at a Hollywood Reporter roundtable, the actor and singer firmly denied the claim. “No, Puffy didn’t attempt to harm me,” Foxx said, adding that he was shocked to see such wild stories online while still recovering.

In April 2023, Jamie Foxx was rushed to the hospital after a severe brain bleed that led to a stroke. He was unconscious for almost three weeks. During recovery, he was on strong medications and trying to make sense of what had happened. That’s when he came across online rumors claiming Diddy had poisoned him.
Despite being weak and confused, Foxx still kept his sense of humor. He even joked about some of the other wild stories — including the strange claim that he had been cloned.
The rumor gained attention when some so-called witnesses and even a former bodyguard claimed that Diddy had poisoned Foxx — and that Foxx had reported him to the FBI. However, these claims have no evidence to support them. More importantly, Foxx himself has strongly denied them.
Foxx even mentioned during his comedy shows that he never felt unsafe at Diddy's parties. He always left early and said, “If he was trying to kill me, I’d be dead already.”
