Telugu superstar Allu Arjun was arrested following a tragic stampede at the premiere of his movie Pushpa 2: The Rule in Hyderabad. The incident resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to her child. The police charged him under Sections 105 and 118(1) of the BNS Act.
Court Grants Interim Bail
The Telangana High Court granted Allu Arjun interim bail on a bond of ₹50,000. However, due to procedural delays, he spent Friday night in jail before being released.
Release Through Back Gate
Allu Arjun was released from Hyderabad’s Chanchalguda Central Jail on Saturday morning. He exited through the back gate, accompanied by his father Allu Aravind and father-in-law Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy, avoiding the crowd of fans gathered outside.
Lawyer Alleges Illegal Detention
Allu Arjun's lawyer, Ashok Reddy, criticized the authorities for delaying his release despite receiving the court’s order. He stated:
"This is illegal detention. We will take legal action against this."

Questioning and Legal Proceedings
After his arrest, the police took Allu Arjun to Chikadpally Police Station and subsequently presented him in Nampally Magistrate Court, where he was remanded to 14-day judicial custody.
Police vs. Theatre Management Dispute
The case brought to light disputes between the police and the theatre management over insufficient security arrangements. Despite requests for additional security, no adequate measures were in place, which allegedly led to the tragedy.
