However, despite Beyoncé’s achievement, Taylor Swift continues to be wealthier overall.

According to Forbes, Beyoncé became a billionaire in December 2025 after a strong earning year. She reportedly made around $148 million before taxes in 2025, driven largely by touring income, brand endorsements, and projects produced under her company, Parkwood Entertainment.

Taylor Swift’s net worth, meanwhile, is estimated to be significantly higher. Forbes values her fortune at roughly $1.6 billion, while Bloomberg places it closer to $2.1 billion by the end of 2025. The difference mainly comes down to how Swift earns and controls her income.

Beyoncé’s wealth includes more than $400 million from the Cowboy Carter tour, around $50 million in merchandise sales, and earnings from Parkwood Entertainment, along with joint ventures involving Jay-Z. Her music catalog is estimated to be worth about $300 million, making it a strong but shared part of her overall portfolio.

Swift’s fortune is built differently. She fully owns her music catalog after buying back her masters for approximately $360 million. That catalog alone is now valued at close to $600 million. On top of that, her record-setting Eras Tour added hundreds of millions in personal earnings, with touring and royalties together contributing an estimated $800 million to her wealth.

Unlike Beyoncé, Swift has focused almost entirely on music-based income rather than expanding into multiple business ventures. That ownership-first approach has given her a more direct and stable revenue stream.
