Tyla brought her bold red carpet style to the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, arriving in a striking blue snakeskin outfit that took the low-rise trend to another level.
The “Push 2 Start” singer wore a look from Mowalola’s Spring-Summer ready-to-wear collection. The outfit featured a tiny bra-style top and an ultra-low-rise pencil skirt that left her midriff exposed.
Tyla completed the look with a matching choker and pointed pumps. She also wore a Chopard watch around her ankle, adding an unexpected detail to the outfit.

The South African singer was not nominated for an award at this year's VMAs, but she was part of the ceremony as a presenter.
For her beauty look, Tyla kept things relatively simple. She wore bronzed, glowing skin, a soft smoky eye and a glossy nude lip. Her long, sleek dark hair fell down her back, with cornrow detailing across the crown.
