“Love Island USA” could be heading to the big screen. The hit reality dating series may be adapted into a fictional feature film, according to comments from ITV America leadership.
David George, CEO of ITV America, which produces the show for Peacock, said discussions have taken place about translating “Love Island USA” into a movie. Speaking to Deadline, George said the idea is part of a broader strategy to expand the company’s intellectual property beyond television.

George said the recent success of the show helped spark the conversations. He described the series as a “lightning bolt” and said it now operates more like a sport than a traditional television program. He added that the company is exploring how the format could work in the feature film space, though no specific concept has been finalized.

George recently assumed oversight of ITV America’s scripted strategy, which could play a role in future developments. Deadline speculated that the project could involve writers setting a story within the Love Island villa, though no official plans have been announced.

The report also raised questions about casting, including who could portray the show’s host, Ariana Madix, if a film moves forward. Several high-profile names were mentioned as possibilities, though no casting decisions have been made.
