Apple TV’s hit comedy Shrinking is officially coming back for Season 3, promising more humor, emotional growth and unexpected moments. Fans can expect the show’s signature mix of heart and comedy to continue, along with a few exciting new additions.

The series is co-created by Jason Segel, Brett Goldstein and Bill Lawrence, the creative force behind other Apple TV successes like Ted Lasso and Bad Monkey.

Season 3 will premiere on January 28, 2026, with the first episode streaming on Apple TV+. New episodes will drop weekly every Wednesday, continuing through April 8, 2026.

Production wrapped in July 2025, with filming taking place in Pasadena shortly after the devastating Los Angeles wildfires earlier that year.

Season 3 introduces some major names. Jeff Daniels joins the cast as Jimmy’s father, adding a new layer to Jimmy’s personal story.

Michael J. Fox will also appear this season. While details about his role are being kept secret, his character may connect to Harrison Ford’s therapist character, Paul Rhoades, who is living with Parkinson’s disease.
