Sydney Sweeney Denies Plastic Surgery Rumors in New Interview

Actress speaks to Allure with Amanda Seyfried

Sydney Sweeney has responded to online rumors claiming she has undergone plastic surgery. The actress addressed the speculation during a recent interview with Allure, alongside her co-star Amanda Seyfried.

Sweeney stated that she has never had any cosmetic procedures and said she is afraid of needles. She explained that comparisons between childhood photos and recent professional images are misleading due to makeup, lighting, and age differences.

During the conversation, Seyfried commented that cosmetic procedures can be effective later in life, but Sweeney maintained that she has no interest in undergoing any such work. She added that if she had chosen cosmetic treatment, her facial features would appear more balanced.

Sweeney also shared that one of her eyelids opens slightly more than the other due to a childhood wakeboarding accident that required 19 stitches. Seyfried responded that the difference is not noticeable.

In a separate interview with Variety in October, Sweeney again stated that she does not plan to undergo cosmetic procedures and prefers to age naturally. She also said she avoids tattoos and any needle-based treatments.

Sweeney previously told Women’s Health that she considers her future self as her role model and hopes to make decisions she will be proud of in the years ahead.
