Sydney Sweeney just gave fans a bold — and unexpected — tease about Euphoria Season 3. When asked what viewers can look forward to, the 28-year-old actress simply replied, “Dildos,” while speaking with E! News at Variety’s Power of Women event.
“I mean, it’s Cassie,” Sweeney laughed. “What do you expect?”
The Madame Web star also revealed that filming is nearing completion. “This is actually my last week of filming,” she shared. “I film tomorrow and Sunday, and then I wrap.”

Although HBO hasn’t confirmed whether Season 3 will be the show’s last, Sweeney hinted that it might be the end of an era. “I think it’s gonna be super bittersweet,” she said. “I grew up with all these people. I filmed the pilot when I was 20 and Season 1 when I was 21. It’s been a crazy experience living with this character for so long.”

The actress also reflected on her emotional bond with the team: “I’ve had the privilege of working with the same cast and crew for years. That doesn’t happen often. I feel like I’m going to be bawling my eyes out.”
The acclaimed HBO series stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Colman Domingo, Alexa Demie, and Eric Dane. Tragically, Euphoria lost one of its beloved actors, Angus Cloud (Fezco), who passed away in July 2023 at age 25.

Season 3 will introduce new faces, including Sharon Stone, Marshawn Lynch, Rosalía, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Trisha Paytas, and Colleen Camp.
Jacob Elordi, who plays Nate Jacobs, recently told Variety that the new season will be “incredibly clever and cinematic.”
“I had a really singular storyline,” he said. “You don’t know what the other storylines are — it’s like FBI files. So I’ll get to watch it as a fan this time, which is exciting.”

Production for Euphoria Season 3 resumed in February after previous delays. Despite earlier reports in November 2024 suggesting the show had been canceled, HBO and Max CEO Casey Bloys confirmed that filming was still underway.
“Nothing has changed — we are shooting Euphoria,” Bloys said. “We have a start date, we’ve read the scripts, and we’re happy.”
The highly anticipated third season is set to premiere in Spring 2026.
At the Power of Women red carpet, Sweeney turned heads in a crystal-studded Christian Cowan x Elias Matso gown, skipping the bra for a bold, confident look. Fellow actress Jamie Lee Curtis was seen admiring Sweeney’s ensemble before giving her a warm hug.
Sweeney was honored as one of Variety’s cover stars during the gala.

In another Variety interview, Sweeney opened up about facing criticism early in her career. “Someone once told me to fix my face or I’d never make it — I was 16!” she revealed. “Or I’d be in a casting, reading my lines, and the director’s eating chips, not even looking at me.”

Despite the harsh comments, Sweeney has remained authentic. “I’ve never gotten anything done. I’m terrified of needles. No tattoos. Nothing. I’m going to age gracefully,” she said.
Online, fans continue to share before-and-after comparisons of the Immaculate actress — but Sweeney insists her glow-up is all natural.
