Overall Impression
Janhvi Kapoor's new film 'Uljh' can be summed up as a very complicated film. However, it is not the kind of complexity that excites; rather, it is the kind that bores and confuses the audience. Kapoor's acting further adds to this confusion.
Storyline
The story revolves around Suhana Bhatia (played by Janhvi Kapoor), the daughter of India's renowned diplomat Vanraj Bhatia (Adil Hussain). Suhana's grandfather was a prominent figure in the UN, whose achievements are even recorded in Indian civics textbooks. Suhana comes from a powerful political family but her character lacks depth, similar to Ranvijay Singh in 'Animal'. Her actions often mimic her father's choices, indicating a significant influence of her father's persona on her own.

Character Dynamics
Suhana Bhatia grapples with severe daddy issues. Despite being appointed as Deputy High Commissioner at a young age due to her intellect and work ethic, her father remains unimpressed and distrustful. Suhana's plea for her father's belief in her is marred by her subsequent foolish actions, leading viewers to sympathize with her father's lack of trust.
In-short Ulajh Review
'Uljh' is a film that tries to build suspense but ends up being convoluted and tedious. Janhvi Kapoor's performance does little to alleviate the confusion, making it a challenging watch.
