Chaitra Navratri is a very big festival for the devotees of Maa Durga. In Navratri, people keep fast and worship Mata Rani. Most of the people consume sago in the form of fruit during fasting, sago works like an energy booster, sago is rich in carbohydrates and potassium is also present in it, which helps in blood circulation. We can make sago in different ways like we can make a delicious recipe by mixing potatoes and other spices in it, today we will tell about the delicious chilla made of sago.

Ingredients to make Sabudana Chilla

·       Sabudana 1 cup

·       boiled potatoes 2

·       Green chili 2 pcs

·       Coriander leaves 1 tbsp

·       rock salt as per taste

·       Pods 1 cup

·       Ghee

·       ground cumin

How to make Sabudana Chilla

1.    To make Sabudana Chilla, first soak a Sabudana overnight.

2.    Wash the sago with clean water, then put the sago in the mixer and grind it to make a paste.

3.    Now mash the boiled potatoes and sago in a bowl.

4.    Mix the crushed chilies, cumin, coriander, fenugreek seeds, salt in the mashed sago and potatoes.

5.    Keep the prepared paste to rest for 10 to 15 minutes.

6.    Now put a griddle on the gas, heat it a little, after that add a spoonful of ghee and the sago paste that we kept on the rest, put a spoonful of it on the griddle.

7.    After this, slowly move the spoon round and round on the paste put on the griddle. After the cheela is slightly roasted, turn it over and add some more ghee.

8.    Now our delicious Sabudana Chilla is ready.
